A North Georgia Wedding at the Tate House in Tate, Georgia
The Tate House Wedding
North Georgia Weddings are my favorite! There is nothing like it in the fall. We celebrated Sadie and Michael at the Tate House in Tate, Georgia. You pass through Ballground, Georgia to get there (at least from my home). and I’m pretty sure Ballground is a place I want to live one day.
We were welcomed by the sweetest family and bridal party. A Sunday wedding is always so special and sweet and a relaxed couple, just ready to get married, makes it even more at easy!
When I first talked to Sadie and her mom, I knew I would be in heaven capturing their North Georgia wedding day. We had so much in common and I felt an instant connection with them. Their kindness definitely spilled over on wedding day.
We all know the rain was fierce this past weekend. Hurricane Delta took a run for us and wasn’t going to let down. This bride and groom even got engaged during a hurricane last year. How fitting that one would be passing through on their wedding day. We had some amazing stops in the rain and got to have gorgeous images! I love a bride that will go for it, even if the bottom of that dress will get a little wet!
Sadie’s Mom and Dad seeing her for the first time, before we headed out, was so special! You can see how much they adore her and love her! North Georgia wedding day dreams, for sure! And then, her bridesmaids come up and they are just the sweetest girls! They were so excited for their friend and sister!!!
I mean, isn’t this what fall north Georgia wedding days are made of?!
Their first look made me smile! They took time and read their vows to one another in a private moment and tears were flowing from both of them. I love seeing two people so in love they allow the emotions to be real in those moments.
As we started into formals for the day, I felt like I was in an English garden! I actually think I said that two or three times. I couldn’t resist trying every single location to capture their special memories!
And let’s just say how good these groomsmen and groom looked in their navy blue tuxedos! It was an amazing touch of color to add to their wedding day!
This is the image I was dreaming of from the moment Sadie and her Mom told me they were getting married at the Tate House!!! I mean, castle dreams for this Disney lover!
As the ceremony was to begin for this North Georgia Wedding day, the rain was pouring. We gave it about 35 minutes and then, we got this beautiful ceremony started! Can I say, it was well worth the wait! The sun started shining and at the end of the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dynes were husband and wife!
I was getting total Notebook vibes right here and I couldn’t pass it up!!!
This amazing couple and their family danced and celebrated the afternoon away! It was so much fun and so relaxed! Josh and I also enjoyed the amazing food by the Tate House! Their chef alone is a reason to get married here!
A final moment before these two aerospace engineers made their grand exit on a helicopter! Yes! A helicopter!!! Josh and I were so pumped and look at the fog coming over the mountains. What dreams are made of for them…and us!
Did we forget to grab our Sullins squish picture? Yes! But does that mean we were having the time of our lives with this amazing couple? Yes!
So I leave you with these amazing leave portraits that I will never forget!
Sadie and Michael, we had so much fun with you guys! This is what dreams are made of!
Happy Honeymooning!
