A Carrollton, Georgia Wedding Day at the Stewart House Chapel

It is always an adventure going back to Carrollton. Josh attended the University of West Georgia and we love any time our weddings take us back there. Being a Georgia Wedding Photographer has taken us all over the state, but there is something about going back to those familiar places.

As you can see, Kallie and Martin are my kind of couple! The blues and peaches with the stunning white chapel at the Stewart House! Not to mention the fun wedding party, gorgeous bridesmaids and gowns and a family that you could hug forever. The best part of being a Georgia Wedding Photographer is definitely photographing gorgeous days, but my next favorite thing is couples like these two!

I will never forget the moments we had with them as Kallie opened a precious gift of pearls from her soon to be new husband or the watch Martin opened from his new bride. Marriages like these are what keeps Josh and me coming back for more wedding days. Georgia Weddings never disappoint, that is for sure!

I mean, y’all! Just look at those gorgeous details Kallie chose for her wedding day!

Who else loves blue like Amy-Cole and Kallie, raise your hand.

I am not sure if details are my favorite part of being a Georgia Wedding Photographer or if seeing those sweet couples meet eyes for the first time all dolled up and ready to get married! I do know this, nothing takes my breath away like a groom with tears because his bride looks so radiant! Martin did not let me down!

Now that we’ve talked about their love story, lets talk about the soggy and rain wedding day! We knew immediately that we would be in rain for a while. I texted Kallie that morning and said, trust me! I can do this! She quickly responded with, I am not worried at all! That’s the thing about hiring someone that has been to the rainy wedding day quite a few times…especially this year (2020, y’all), you get used to finding that pure light and working with what you have!

The biggest blessing of all was this gorgeous white chapel with the perfect white porch! It did not disappoint and we captured all of the amazing things we were needing and more! Hello Georgia Wedding Photographer meets Rainy Day Wedding Photographer! Maybe I should make that a new hashtag!

And then the party started! We jumped out in the rain for some final “sunset” portraits and headed off to the most fun reception ever! That band, y’all! Wowzer!

We danced the night away and I quickly remembered why I love being a Georgia Wedding Photographer and keep doing this amazing job week after week. The love in the room was so magical and we had so much fun.

I hope you have enjoyed the sneak peek from this gorgeous Georgia Wedding! I know we loved every single minute!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Harner! We love you so!
