The Wheeler House in Ballground, Georgia

The most perfect fall day had arrived and it was finally Abby and Chris’ wedding day!

The Wheeler House is always a perfect backdrop for any wedding day, but we especially loved Abby and Chris’ boho wedding day style come to life at this Ballground wedding venue. We have never had a groom in a burgundy tux and it was way cool.

The bride and groom spent any hours crafting their way to their wedding. They built the beautiful arbor and the scripture signs. Abby was very creative in all of the elements of her special wedding day.

A Friday wedding is one of my favorites. I love how laid back the day is and how relaxed the wedding party is as they prepare for the event. Everyone was laughing and having an amazing time, at the Wheeler House, and that’s a testament to the way Abby and Chris live their lives.

As Abby was getting ready, her girls were keep her excited and joyful and it was evident she was very ready to see her groom!

As we prepped for the first touch, you could sense how nervous and excited these two were. It was a beautiful moment of watching them spend a few minutes together before Abby walked down the aisle to her forever!

After first touch, we quickly started formals with the guys and goodness, were they a hoot!

We laughed a whole lot with these fellas and had a blast. The Wheeler House was a perfect backdrop for these handsome men in their cool suits.

We spent the next little bit photographing the beautiful girls, in their emerald green gowns. The hoops that the girls carried were amazing. So classic and clean, but they fit Abby’s style and vision perfectly.

After formals ended, and before the ceremony was set to start, we grabbed immediate family photographs. Everyone was ready and at attention and if you’ve ever been an Amy-Cole couple or at an Amy-Cole wedding, you know this is where I shine! Ha! This family did not disappoint. We got it done and the bride was away for a last few minutes before the ceremony was to begin.

They did it!

One of the special things about their wedding day was the way everyone rallied around Abby, since her Mom couldn’t be there. Her mom had passed in 2017 and you could tell how much Abby and Chris…and even her sister, Amy, and her brother in law, Brian, missed Christy’s presence.

However, they did everything right to celebrate her! Amy, Abby’s sister, even had a few extra surprises up her sleeve for later in the evening.

The love birds finally got some time together and we had a blast photographing them.

My favorite was when Abby added her jean jacket to her gown to make the cutest wedding photographs!

After formals, we entered their beautiful reception, where guest were very ready to see the bride and groom!

What a party…and a LOT of BodyArmor was consumed! You think I’m kidding, but I am not! Abby works for them and so it was fun to watch everyone enjoy her favorite beverage through the evening.

These two are so much fun and we are honored that we got to capture their perfect Wheeler House wedding day!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Peacos!!!
