A Spring Wedding in South Alabama at Dalrymple Farms

There is absolutely nothing like being a southern wedding photographer. The traditions, the excitement, the fun wedding moments that happen on special days! A southern wedding is like none other and I am honored that I get to photograph the magic of a southern wedding day!

There is NOTHING…and I mean NOTHING like shooting a Jacksonville State University wedding. I wish I could keep count on how many we’ve captured because I seriously love the couples that come from this college. Even better is capturing the day of a Marching Ballerina from JSU. They’re some of the kindest brides I have ever known and that make this southern wedding photographer’s day so much easier!

I was so giddy when I saw that Syerra brought her boots and tassels for her wedding. I was able to use them for some ring details and I think it’s some of my favorite shots ever!

The light was perfect for Cade and Syerra’s day. These two have been growing in their love story for 10 years. Yep, 10 years they shared their love for one another and so the entire wedding party and family was so happy to celebrate their southern wedding dreams at Dalrymple Farms.

The sun was bright, the navy dresses were perfect on the gorgeous bridesmaids and the gray tuxedos with navy dress shoes…well, you know they fulfilled all of my navy and blue dreams!!!

Their ceremony was filled with so much love and excitement. Syerra vowed to love Cade forever, Cade vowed to always cherish Syerra. You could tell this southern wedding couple had been waiting for a very long time to have their first kiss as husband and wife. As they walked back down the aisle, the happiness was real! It was all over their face with excitement!!!

It was done! They’re officially Mr. and Mrs. Stinnett and I don’t know who was more excited, the bride or the groom.

Some sunset portraits with their favorite pup was a must! He had torn his ACL just two days before. Syerra and I both had a hard week with our doggies leading into her day and that is something that bonded us even closer. She is such an encourager and I was so thankful she was our bride on the week we lost our Daffi.

Syerra and Cade love their pup and I am so glad he was able to make it to the wedding.

After pup pics, we head into sunset portraits with our bride and groom and for me, this is the sweetest time on a wedding day. Just us, alone with the couple, they get a minute to breathe and rest! I loved watching Syerra lay her head over on her groom for just a minutes rest.

After sunset formals, it was time to party! These two are such a fun couple so we knew the reception was going to be a blast!

Little did one of our bridesmaid’s know that she was about to get the surprise of her life!!!

It was almost time to leave, the bride was setting up for her bouquet toss and she turned around to hand it off to one of her dear friends!!! As she turned around, her future groom was prepared to ask her to marry him.

If I am being honest, there is not many greater ways to show love to your friends that to be PUMPED about an exciting moment on your wedding day. Syerra and Cade were jumping for joy with excitement. Heck, the whole wedding went crazy!

This southern wedding day was perfection. From top to bottom we loved every single thing about capturing this magical and southern day.
