A Summer Wedding in Calhoun, Georgia
There is something so sweet about seeing so many family and friends on a wedding day! Morgan and Jordan’s wedding was just that, a reunion. I’m from Rome, Georgia, but this was my first time shooting a Calhoun wedding day and the love in the air did not disappoint. So sit back and get ready for a trip through their sneak peeks! Morgan was the most relaxed bride! I think she was so ready to marry her groom, nothing was going to ruin her special day.
Jordan was just the same! He just wanted to see his girl!
Ready or not, here we go!
The day started with the bride and her girls being completely ready when I arrived! Y’all, this never happens! We are typically waiting on something, but you could tell they were so excited to get the day started so off we went! The schedule was already 30 minutes early, so this gave us plenty of time to play with fun details and enjoy catching up with everyone! This Calhoun wedding was already off to a great start!
After the details were captured, we headed into the sweetest pre-wedding time with the families. The bride and groom were so excited, but the mom and dad of Morgan and Jordan were just as excited! That’s how you can tell that this Calhoun wedding was something really special. The parents were so thrilled that their babies had found the one that their soul loves! It truly was a memorable moment!
A first look with Dad and then we were off to see our groom!
Jordan could not wait to see his bride on this beautiful Calhoun wedding day! The anticipation was building and this was the moment that they had both been waiting for!
The time was now! Morgan walked towards Jordan and with a simple tap on the shoulder, his bride was there! Sweet kisses and a big hug as they celebrated that their day was finally here! What a beautiful love story they hold together!
After stealing a few kisses and exchanging their gifts, it was time for the formals and goodness, did we laugh and have fun! The sun was shining bright and high for this Calhoun wedding day and we were so excited to capture it all; the fun, the laughter, the smiles with friends and cousins! Mr. Golden Sun sure did show out for their May summer wedding day!
After fun with family and friends, a little downtime for everyone to cool off, and prayer with her sweet friends, sister, and cousin…
It was time! Miss Sutton was about to walk down the aisle to her groom, Mr. Cagle! And when they came back up the aisle, they would be married! It’s crazy how only minutes can change your life so profoundly!
When we left the sanctuary for those after wedding formal shots, the sun was perfection and magic! We captured some last moments of their full wedding party together and then romantic formals of the sweet could after they have said “I do” to their forever! This Calhoun wedding day was giving us all of the perfect moments and light…but the love was definitely what you were seeing as you looked at the smiles of family and friends!
Aren’t they perfection?
As we walked back in from sunset formals, we were excited for everyone to celebrate this very happy couple! So many had driven in from distances and they just wanted big hugs to celebrate this most special day!
The dancing, the cake, the amazing food, and the doughnuts! Wowzer!
But hold on, because you will have to see their cute leave! But first, the reception and the very special first dances!
We’ve had confetti before…but nothing compares to the way this photographed! We loved their most perfect leave and adventure into their future!!!
We had the best day capturing this perfect Calhoun wedding love story, with Morgan and Jordan!
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Cagle! We are so excited for you!!!
