A Summer Church Wedding in Alabama

Shelly and Miles were ready for their magical day to arrive! I started my business in Alabama and there is nothing quite like an Alabama Wedding adventure.

I took off early on Saturday morning from the Brunswick airport! It was time to fly into Atlanta for our final wedding of the season! I knew this would be a fun day. Miles and Shelly are always so relaxed and excited every time I am around them! This Saturday was no exception, the only difference on this Alabama wedding day was these two were getting married!

As I headed over to Alabama, after a quick nap at my hotel (did I mention I flew in at 6AM?), I was not only excited to see these two friends, but also Stefanie! Stefanie was filling in for Josh since he wasn't able to travel for this trip. He was so sad to not be with this amazing couple in Alabama, but I was so thankful Stef was there and ready to capture this love story!

We quickly started with the details. Shelly’s dress was amazing and she had thought of all of the sweetest things to be captured!

The perfect pinks and beauty was shining bright for this Alabama wedding day.

There is nothing like a laid back bride and wedding party! This group was definitely here to laugh and encourage for the day. I really am one blessed photog that I get to meet such amazing people. These Alabama wedding peeps were definitely high on the list of fun and laughter!!!

I mean, her dress was so stunning! I love the relationship she and her mom hold. The sweetest friendship between the two and so much joy!

We quickly moved to the formals for the day. We didn’t have a first look with bride and groom so this is always exciting to keep the two of them from seeing one another before the ceremony! We succeeded on this cool Alabama wedding day…and when I say cool, I mean it! It felt so amazing outside and that in itself is a miracle for an Alabama wedding at the end of May! I think we were all excited!

It was time for Mason to see his bride! The church was packed, the music was playing, and the arrival was here! Shelly was ready to marry her guy on this beautiful end of May, Alabama wedding day!

Their love story is pretty special!

They were married!!!

It was time for some fun in the sun and to capture this magical love story!

The wedding party was ready for food and fun and the couple was ready to just spend some much needed wedding day time together! The sun did not disappoint and we had so much fun hanging out with this precious couple after their guest headed to the reception.

I have shot at the Pitman a million times (or so it feels) and the light outside the doors of this reception venue, in Gadsden, never gets old!

We walked in to the party ready to get started! The couple shared first dances and had so much fun seeing family and friends!

Stef even captured me showing our sweet bride her sneak peek portraits and I love watching their faces when they see some of their wedding images for the first time! We had so much fun! We ate, we laughed, we saw old friends, and even gained new ones! This was exactly the type of day I needed to wrap up our crazy and busy spring wedding days!

Is this not the coolest car for such a fun exit!

We loved everything about Shelly and Miles’ special day! Enjoy their full sneak peek and seeing this Alabama wedding day unfold!

Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Mason! We love you!
