A pretty perfect day was headed our way. On Saturday, November 12, we enjoyed an intimate ceremony with close friends and family of Mr. and Mrs. V, at Emma’s Driftwood Farm. The light was not only perfect, but so was the love in the air surrounding this gorgeous couple.

Our day started at the beautiful house on the back side of Emma’s Driftwood Farm. Mrs. V was getting ready and her friends were close by loving her well. We captured her elegant gown and her perfect shoes before getting her ready for the big moment. After all, this is why everyone had gathered.

Emma’s Driftwood Farm is located in Darien, Georgia. A quaint town in low-country.

Here’s some information about the farm for you:

“Where the trees weep with Spanish moss and the twisting waterways sail you far away from the outside world. Our historic property and stunning views are the perfect place for your private events and getaways. The water-front properties right off the inter-coastal waterway sit on eighty-one acres of picturesque marshland brimming with aquatic life, soaring domestic fowl, and local flora. As you can see, this spot is a perfect backdrop for any occasion, but especially the wedding day of this special couple.

As the hours bend, the arrival of the bride came quickly and we were off to the ceremony set over the golden marshes at Emma’s Driftwood Farm. The light was so bright, you often couldn’t capture the essences of the beauty. However, we will never complain about the glow on this special day. It was reflected by all as Mrs. V walked down the aisle to her handsome groom.

Their special ceremony was conducted by their son and their daughters were close by.

At the end of this special ceremony, you could tell the excitement was high for the evening ahead.

We captured their love story in the most perfect spots along Emma’s Driftwood Farm and is was as if the light was chasing these two amazing people. We loved spending just a moment alone with them as we captured their love unfolding in our cameras.

Shortly after, they met up with their friends and family, and of course the star of the show, Sullivan, the cute puppy dog (I am sure you can imagine my joy in meeting him). The enjoyed cocktails on the marsh side and laughed the evening away.

This special day was a favorite. These two focused on their love story and the most special people around them. We absolutely adored our time with them and hope they are back soon so we can get together.
