An Alabama Wedding :: Madeline and Mitchell
There is something so sweet about going back to where it all started!
That’s exactly what we did this past weekend when we shared an Alabama Wedding with Mitchell and Madeline. Not only do we adore this couple, but we know them so very personally and wouldn’t have missed their big day for the world. My cute man even married them! Let’s tell the wonderful story of their Alabama Wedding.
The day started with the most amazing light! The breeze was blowing and to be honest, I was in heaven. South Georgia is already warm, so it was nice to spend an Alabama Wedding together where the cool air of spring hasn’t quite disappeared…yet! No worries, the summers are hot there, too!
As we arrived, it was fun to see Mitchell pulling in. He was calm and excited! I knew he couldn’t wait to see his beautiful bride.
I stuck my head in the door to grab all of the details and there she was! Madeline was perfection already, and the day was just getting started!
This couple has patiently waited for this special day. Everyone was smiling and the sun was shining so bright.
Not only was this a special day for our Alabama Wedding bride and groom, it was also the most special day for the families. This couple has dated for 7 years and they had been so intentional to protect and guard their hearts during the dating years. There was so much love and excitement that the day that they had been praying for, was finally here.
As we headed into the first look, Mitchell was emotional and Madeline was glowing. Listen, I love a groom that allows himself to be in the moment. The breeze and light on this Alabama Wedding only added to the beauty of Christ on display in front of our eyes.
As we headed into the small moments of the day, so many had tears and excitement. Everyone was over the moon for this special couple. There was so much laughter in the air and man, was the love strong!
We soon headed into the ceremony and the anticipation was high. This ceremony was well thought out and prepared for. Josh and I had the honor of walking through pre-marital counseling with these guys and let me tell you, they did the work to prepare them for this special moment.
It was here! The ceremony! The moment we had all been waiting for had arrived. I’d be upset with myself if I didn’t mention that my husband looked fine walking down that aisle. I sure do love that man, but I really love his heart for our couples and marriage. He not only loves our marriage and we celebrate it often, but we both loving seeing the heart of marriage in our couples. The Alabama Wedding couple was ready…it was their turn and the time was now!
Here comes the beautiful bride!
They are married!
We spent the next little bit taking beautiful sunset formals with the most amazing florals. We captured their romance and had so much fun celebrating their love story!
After all of the romantic images, we headed to a fun reception where friends and family were waiting for the happy Alabama Wedding couple.
This Alabama Wedding was something really special. We love this couple so much, we love the friends and family that we were able to see, we love that warm Alabama Wedding light, and the breeze in the air did something special for my soul.
Madeline and Mitchell, you know we love you so very much! We cannot wait to watch your life unfold together. We plan to be right here watching it all and cheering you on!
Oh, sweet home Alabama Wedding…you were just too much fun!
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson!
We love you!
