Emma's Driftwood Farm :: Darien, Georgia

Our day started at the beautiful house on the back side of Emma’s Driftwood Farm. Mrs. V was getting ready and her friends were close by loving her well. We captured her elegant gown and her perfect shoes before getting her ready for the big moment. After all, this is why everyone had gathered.

Emma’s Driftwood Farm is located in Darien, Georgia. A quaint town in low-country.

Here’s some information about the farm for you:

“Where the trees weep with Spanish moss and the twisting waterways sail you far away from the outside world. Our historic property and stunning views are the perfect place for your private events and getaways. Abby + Chris :: The Wheeler House Wedding, Ballground, Georgia

The Wheeler House is always a perfect backdrop for any wedding day, but we especially loved Abby and Chris’ boho wedding day style come to life at this Ballground wedding venue. We have never had a groom in a burgundy tux and it was way cool.

The bride and groom spent any hours crafting their way to their wedding. They built the beautiful arbor and the scripture signs. Abby was very creative in all of the elements of her special wedding day.

A Summer Elopement and Vow Renewal :: Perimeter Church and Ivy Hall

Our beautiful couple was married on a Monday afternoon at Perimeter Church. Emily and Peter have had to reschedule their wedding day, not once, but twice during this pandemic. I love what Emily said to me as I captured her detail shots the week before her elopement. Her words, “I just want to be married!” Peter even commented at the elopement that this has really put things in perspective. Can I just say, these two are a dream couple. At the end of the day, they just wanted to be married! They had been waiting for a very long time for their special day and on Monday, August 3, 2020, we finally were able to capture the magic of this moment for them.
