Village Creek Landing :: Sallie + Tyler - St. Simons Island Wedding

A day at Village Creek Landing did not disappoint. It was our first time to experience this amazing venue since moving to St. Simons Island and we are excited about capturing many more days at this venue.

It was perfect to experience this day with Sallie and Tyler. We think they’re an amazing couple and their day was wrapped in dreams and magic…at least, that’s what it felt like to us, and them.

Abby + Chris :: The Wheeler House Wedding, Ballground, Georgia

The Wheeler House is always a perfect backdrop for any wedding day, but we especially loved Abby and Chris’ boho wedding day style come to life at this Ballground wedding venue. We have never had a groom in a burgundy tux and it was way cool.

The bride and groom spent any hours crafting their way to their wedding. They built the beautiful arbor and the scripture signs. Abby was very creative in all of the elements of her special wedding day.

A Summer Wedding at Timber Ridge Lodge in Keystone, Colorado

Have you ever had a bucket list spot where you knew if you could just go there, your life would be full?

Last November, my family and I took a trip to Keystone, Colorado. It’s a location I had wanted to go since I was a little girl. Little did I know that the bucket list Colorado trip would turn into a magical Keystone Wedding on top of a high mountain. The wedding day would be full of love and laughter, the couple would hug and kiss atop a high peak, the family would travel from all over to celebrate the amazing day.

If you ever ask me what my mountain top moment is in business, this weekend would likely be my answer.

An Indian Ceremony and Sangeet in Silverthorne, Colorado

As we walked into this Colorado Wedding venue, my heart fluttered. It was everything Megan had described on our calls, and more. The colors and beauty, the authentic moments of the culture. I couldn’t stop watching all of the family jumping in to help. It was truly a beautiful moment to soak in.

The Indian culture is bold and bright and full of life. The smiles and joy were everywhere. As we photographed the sweet moments of Megan getting dressed in her Lehenga, with her mom, I was learning all of the amazing things about this culture. They love bold colors on a wedding day! It symbolizes the joy and celebration of this momentous moment.

A Summer Church Wedding in Alabama

I took off early on Saturday morning from the Brunswick airport! It was time to fly into Atlanta for our final wedding of the season! I knew this would be a fun day. Miles and Shelly are always so relaxed and excited every time I am around them! This Saturday was no exception, the only difference on this Alabama wedding day was these two were getting married!

As I headed over to Alabama, after a quick nap at my hotel (did I mention I flew in at 6AM?), I was not only excited to see these two friends, but also Stefanie! Stefanie was filling in for Josh since he wasn't able to travel for this trip. He was so sad to not be with this amazing couple in Alabama, but I was so thankful Stef was there and ready to capture this love story!

A Romantic Wedding at St. Ives Country Club in Johns Creek, Georgia

Romance is in the air, especially on a warm Sunday afternoon in Johns Creek, Georgia. I am so excited about my new life and business as a Saint Simons Wedding Photographer, but there is nothing like a North Georgia Wedding day with the most perfect couple. I grew up in North Georgia and it will always be home.

Michael and Ruthie are one of the most amazing and special couples I’ve ever worked beside. They’re kind and so fun to be around, they are madly in love and ready to celebrate a future together, and they were also so understanding when life threw our family a curve ball and we moved down to Saint Simons.
